Acadie was born in  Acadian Peninsula in New-Brunswick in a little fisherman village by the sea. That is in Canada. Now living in Laval about 15 minutes from Montreal, Quebec.

Have 1 boy and 1 girl both grow up now, and a proud grand-ma of two adorable grandkids, 1 girl and 1 boy ( son's children ).

Norma Murphy is her name, Acadie is her Artist name she use. Many of you knows her as Acadie and some of her real name. You will mostly discover her the way she is  by visiting her site and some of her art work.

she just love art and love making some especially with PhotoImpact. She have a few graphic programs but her preference goes to Corel/Ulead PhotoImpact.

She remember from her childhood all those fairy tales that the grown up use to tell her, and all the fantasy around it. They just took the time to sat there with her and that is still just precious memories to her. Maybe that is why sheI like those history's about the pass with the special magic of fantasy.

Her passion is history, drawing and painting. Most of her paintings reflect her love of history and are a window to the past. She have and still do study Art and History and has painted on canvas since I was a young girl, selling her first painting at the age of 12. For the last few years she have found a new love in creating her artwork digitally, using the graphics software PhotoImpact.  She loves to share her knowledge of art and enjoys helping others learn digital painting and the study of art in an online Painting forum at the PhotoImpact International Bulletin Board. Her passion for history and art was instrumental in the creation of the creation of the Viking Folklore Site. She now sell a few of her painting art as prints on Original Artwork Prints and notecards as well.  As an artist, She do love also to share my knowledge where she do teach online class at Visual Arts Academy  as well as some Tutorials for PhotoImpact users.
